This summer our School Uniform Donation Drive and Marlowes Charity Drive have brought people across Hemel Heampstead together around a shared goal - supporting others, reducing waste and helping our local community thrive.
Our School Uniform Donation Drive was created to help local families prepare for the new school year.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, good-quality, pre-loved essentials are being collected at The Marlowes, ready to support families who need them.
By giving school essentials a second life, we can help children head back into the classroom feeling prepared and confident. The drive also supports families with some of the financial pressures that come with a new school year.
Alongside our school uniform campaign, the Marlowes Charity Drive is encouraging the community to look at unwanted items in a different way.
Rather than letting pre-loved belongings go to waste, the initiative gives them the opportunity to benefit someone else while supporting important causes. As well as promoting more sustainable choices, the campaign is raising vital funds for Alzheimer's Society and Animal Support Angels.
