Edinburgh Woollen Mill opens its doors at 219-221 Marlowes on Wednesday March 19, sitting just outside the shopping centre on the high street as part of our wider retail complex.

A much-loved British knitwear brand is heading to The Marlowes this March, and it's bringing goody bags.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill opens its doors at 219-221 Marlowes on Wednesday March 19, sitting just outside the shopping centre on the high street as part of our wider retail complex. It's a great new arrival for Hemel Hempstead shoppers, and if you're a fan of quality knitwear, cashmere and classic British clothing, this one's worth getting excited about.

A brand with real history

Edinburgh Woollen Mill has been trading since 1946, when it first opened in the Scottish capital. Nearly 80 years later, the brand has over 200 stores across the country, from high streets and tourist districts to garden centres.

Les McLean, area manager for the new store, said: "We are excited to welcome visitors to our new store to explore our wonderful collections. It's going to be a great addition to the local retail mix."

What's in store

The Edinburgh Woollen Mill is best known for its knitwear and cashmere collections. Think quality jumpers, cardigans and cosy accessories including hats, scarves and gloves. The store also carries a great range of everyday wear such as shirts, polo shirts, chinos and trousers for both men and women, alongside gifts and homewares.

Brands stocked include Country Rose, Isle, Honor Milburn, James Pringle and P Field, all sitting under one roof for an easy, relaxed shopping experience.

Opening day treats

To mark the occasion, Edinburgh Woollen Mill is laying on some opening-day extras. The first 20 customers to make a purchase will receive an Edinburgh Woollen Mill goody bag, and prizes will also be hidden around the store for shoppers to find. It's well worth arriving early if you're planning a visit.

Edinburgh Woollen Mill at 219-221 Marlowes opens on Wednesday March 19. Pop in and see what's on offer.
