Dacorum Fun Palace events at The Marlowes

This year’s Dacorum Fun Palace will be ‘hybrid event’ with a mix of FREE online and in-person creative and physical activities and workshops taking place on 2nd and 3rd October across Dacorum! 

Active Dacorum and Hemel Hempstead Library are thrilled to be co-creating this year’s Fun Palace with over 16 other artists, community groups and organisations to celebrate Fun Palaces weekend with an array of free arts and cultural activities for and with our community!  Some will be drop-in and some will require booking. See each activity's details for information. 

Some of the activities will be held here at The Marlowes.

Saturday 2nd October

11am - 1pm:  Watercolour Rainbows with Anna’s Funky Art at The Dacorum Creatives Hub! 
Drop-in for all ages (children must be supervised by an adult).

Come along and learn how to paint your own watercolour rainbow and decorate it with some fun doodle patterns on. No need to book, just turn up!

11am - 3pm: Circus Skills with Phoenix Entertainment!
Drop-in session for ages 4-12 yrs.

Come and learn circus skills including aerial hoop, tightrope walking, poi, juggling spinning plates and more. No booking is required – drop in sessions available on the day!

Sunday 3rd October

Interactive musical storytelling shows with Imajica Theatre 
Drop-in for children (must accompanied by a parent/adult) 
Join Moonchild and Earth Sprite as they share with you What a Wonderful World we live in! Join Imajica for their interactive storytelling shows at 11.30, 1.30 & 3.30.
