Wilkinson, a family run business that has 351 stores across the
UK, is pleased to announce its re-brand store launch in Hemel
Hempstead on Thursday 21st April at 9am. The store is located
within the Marlowes Shopping Centre.
To celebrate its fresh look, Wilkinson is delighted to invite
the Mayor of Dacorum, Councillor Roger Taylor for the
ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside store manager Ravi Mall and
Wilkinson's Head of Supply Chain Simon Lowe.
Wilkinson is also delighted to be welcoming the Hemel Hempstead
Band, Community Rugby League Coach Stuart McIntyre and Ryan Butcher
from local rugby team, Hemel Stags. Both rugby players will be on
hand to cut the ribbon and to meet and greet customers on arrival
to the store. They will also be available for pictures and to sign
autographs.
Wilkinson will continue celebrations throughout the day, with a
fully equipped craft table in store for children to enter the
competition and get their artwork on the wall! There will be
a free face painter and children's entertainer Magic Martin will be
in store from 10am-1.30pm balloon modelling for children and
adults.
Customers will also have the chance to enter a raffle and win a
Wilkinson product 'hamper', with the proceeds going to the
Wilkinson charity of the year, Anthony Nolan. The Anthony Nolan
charity finds matches for leukemia patients who are in need of a
lifesaving transplant.
The store will receive a fresh new look as part of the company's
nationwide initiative to invest in local towns and refresh existing
stores throughout the UK. Customers will now find it easier to
navigate through the store, with clearer displays and a much
brighter shopping environment with extended product ranges.
Store manager, Ravi Mall, comments: "I am delighted with the
store's new look, it's a total transformation! The store has been
open since 1997 so we have some real history in the area, I'm
confident that our customers are going to love the new look, as
much as we do. It's a very exciting time for us and we are
especially pleased to have The Mayor of Dacorum, Hemel Stags Rugby
Club representatives and the Hemel Hempstead Band to provide a day
packed with fun and entertainment".
